COMMENTARY, FOOTNOTES & INDEX
In this series of aphorisms, we can establish the following - everything is 'Consciousness' - therefore, although we may make, by way of convenience, a distinction between the Universal and the Individual - there is no distinction. Put another way in another language - we can say - "All Is God - and God Is All." This is established by Aphorism number 1.
How is the distinction between - the Universal and the Individual made? This distinction is made" - by 'Experience.' What is the nature of this 'Experience?' - the second simulation axiom - makes it clear - "All is simulation."
Therefore, all 'Experience' - is "simulated experience." This is established through the "second and third axioms."
To many, this may seem questionable - but it is clear that the author of the aphorism is not prepared to compromise. The author has to deal with the "differences" in experiences. It is clear from the "first axiom" relating to 'Consciousness' - that the author regards - 'Consciousness' as being the "Universal constant mechanism" - of which the 'Universal' and the 'Individual' - is contained.
Given that, the concept of "universality" - and "individual" - exists - and is meaningful - it cannot be ignored. How is the distinction not just between the 'Universal' and the 'Individual' made, but the differences within for example - "Individual Experience." For example, 'Individuals' have dreams - dreams are very much the stuff of 'simulation' - but how can the 'Individual' distinguish between his waking state and his/her dream state? - this cannot be ignored.
The third aphorism deals with this - since it states that all 'experience' is the "same" - i.e. 'simulation' (second aphorism) - it is therefore the job of the third aphorism - to deal with possible distinctions - this it does by using the geometric term "degree" - "all experience is simulation" - but not all 'simulation' is the same - these can be distinguished by -
"WAY
of
DEGREES"
(Aphorism 3, lines 4-7)
Thus is completed - the consideration - of all aspects of 'Mind' - from the 'Universal' to the 'Individual' - from the waking state - to the dream state.
There exists only one state - "the simulated state" (Oladipo Adegboyega Adelaja, SOTI Collected Works - "Men and Machines")

FOOTNOTES
1. 'PSiLLOGY' -
This is an original and unique technical definition used by SOTI initiates and students - combining the "syllogistic philosophical form" - in the 'synergetic' - 'synonmatic' - "processes of 'aphorismic' - reasoning." The "Psi" - is a clear reference to 'Consciousness' and 'Mind' being the subject matter under consideration. Its use as a teaching method - was to cause the Mind - of the user to be propelled - by the power of syllogistic reasoning. Hence it was described as being syllogistic in form. However, there were some "trinity of aphorisms" - which were not only syllogistic in form, but "syllogistic in synonmatic movement" - as well. Only the latter therefore, would be regarded as embodying the original philosophical purpose of the syllogism - with its movement from a universal statement (1) - through a second statement - into a third statement of individual application - 'Truth.'
